Personal Statement
I have always been interested in how things work, what are the core elements that make things what they are.
For me art is about contradiction and juggling opposing forces, an environment which is in constant flux from which I try to mould my image. This is a unique object, which conveys my response to a given motif at a particular moment in time.
I search for this image through painting and drawing until the elements are in tension and the sensation achieved.
